Summary

Do you have a wiki? Or are you considering making one for your business? This article provides a simple Two Step Guide to get started once you have a wiki.

In Real Estate, the basic rule is "Location, Location, Location". Why? If you are into commercial real estate the best locations have the most traffic for business. If you are into residential real estate the best views, neighborhoods, and schools all depend on location. Location drives prices; a home with water views sells for for 2 to 3 times a similar home in a less desirable location. In Virtual Estate (the internet), the basic rule is Content, Content, Content.

If ads factor into your revenue model at all, you need to get the quality traffic first. Without traffic, you will not have real people (potential customers) to click on your ads.

The First Step

Now that you have a wiki, why not write an article on who your customers are? The next article can be on why they should be on why they should visit your site. (What makes you different, etc). The third article can be on who your clients' clients are. If your client is a Bear, you should have content that is all about Honey.

Once you have some basic content, you can move on to the next step: Marketing, Self Promotion, Press Releases, Advertising in trade journals. Your wiki should be full of information about you and your niche.
